Jay is an experienced on-line strategist and manager with substantial web experience and very broad knowledge of all things Digital. Jay has led very large, complex technology transformations related to the web, Mobile, Content etc..
Currently responsible for developing the next generation service design experiences including Digital Strategy (CX, Website, Content, Dynamic DITA publishing), capabilities development and overall roadmap of the largest technology overhaul in HP’s web history including a new web publishing platform, taxonomy management system, a new DITA based Content Management System, various web services and on device capabilities
HP is in the process of formally separating into two publicly traded Fortune 50 companies: Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. Global Separation Management Office manages this for both companies. Special assignment as overall Lead for Web, Social Media, Online CRM, Knowledge/Training and Channel Delivery. Role includes management of strategic disposition (which company gets what and how), People and process changes, IT application separation, functional transition processes and more.
Manage strategy and team covering all future capabilities for HP's online customer service and support in the HP PC and Peripheral space. Jay and team partners closely with Customer Experience, Knowledge Management, IT and various vendors to develop the overall roadmap, planning, vendor selection etc. for the next generation HP web support experience currently being implemented. Covers a >$25M investment in our online presence, Social Media, Online CRM, Assisted support (Chat, e-mail, video), on product diagnostics and supporting technologies including Salesforce, Content Management, Taxonomy management and more.
